I am a third generation British Indian, proud of my Hindu identity and Indian heritage. My interest in India led me to complete an MA course at SOAS, University of London. I was privileged to meet many academics who genuinely love India, however it was at this point that I was also exposed to the anti-India front in earnest.
My concern regarding academics and various overseas entities who were exploiting faultlines in Indian society for their own benefit led me to discover Rajiv Malhotra and Aravindan Neelakandan’s Breaking India, which was a seminal work for me as it impressed upon me the importance of reclaiming the study of India from those who seek to undermine it at every opportunity. My interests are in Swadeshi Indology, and more broadly in geopolitics, particularly how global political developments will impact on India.
