How the West copied calculus from India

Calculus is an integral part of modern science and engineering. Isaac Newton and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz are credited with its discovery. But what is not known is that many of the ideas related to calculus were already known to Indian mathematicians centuries before the West. Evidence also suggests that a lot of Indian scientific texts reached the West via Jesuit missionaries and that calculus was derived from such Indian works.
